A meeting and following dinner for the Historical Society’s second anniversary is scheduled. The meeting will include a talk by Rozelle McReynolds, attorney, and Floyd Shoemaker secretary of Missouri State Historical society. There will also be folk singing, and other performances.
Professor Lemke discussed local and district history at a dinner meeting of the Jasper County Historical Society. Shaner, president of the society, was the master of ceremonies at this dinner. The society is noted has having a membership of 300.
