Campus Administration
MSSU's campus administration is comprised of several elements, its most well known entities being the institution's presidents and the Board of Governors.
Previous Presidents to the University
An image depicting one of MSSU's previous deans, Roi Wood, who joined MSSU's administration prior to the opening of the current campus, whenever it was Joplin Junior College at the time.
An image depicting one of MSSU's previous deans, Leon C. Billingsly, who joined MSSU's administration (likely named Joplin Junior College at the time) in 1967.
An image depicting one of MSSU's previous deans, Donald Darnton, who joined MSSU's administration (MSSC at the time) in 1979.
An image depicting one of MSSU's previous deans, Julio S. León, who joined MSSU's administration (MSSC at the time) in 1982.
Board of Governors
Spring of 1967, this photo depicts the 1966-67 Board of Trustees (now known as the Board of Governors). The individuals are arranged as follows: Front Row: Elvin Ummel, Norvell Matthews, Thomas Taylor; Back Row: Fred Hughes, Mills Anderson, and Gene Taylor. Furthermore, the back of this photo states that Fred Hughes was president during this timeframe, as well as the image itself was taken at the "mansion."
