MSSU Archives & Special Collections Exhibits: A.B.B.C. Coterie Scrapbook

The daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Wilkerson, Elizabeth “Betty” Baron was born on May 28, 1904, in the Springfield, Missouri area. She married William Baron on June 3, 1925, and the couple lived most of their lives in the St. Louis, Missouri area, specifically Maplewood, Missouri. While there, Betty Baron joined a number of women’s clubs, including the Women’s Safe Driving School of the St. Louis Safety Club, the A.B.B.C. Coterie of the Missouri Federation of Women’s Clubs, and the Weaver of Dreams Story League. Mrs. Baron died on March 23, 1986, and is buried in Springfield, Missouri.
