Student Worker Training: Breaks and Time off

For each shift, breaks accumulate as follows:

• 4 or fewer hours- no break
• 4-5 hours- 15-minute break
• 6-8 hours- 30-minute break
• 9 or more hours- 1-hour break, plus two 15-minute breaks

Student workers do not get Holiday or Sick leave. If you will be gone you will miss out on those hours. 

You may be able to work other hours if you arrange it with your supervisor. 

Student workers do not get paid for Weather Closings. 

Again, you may be able to work other hours if arranged with your supervisor.
