ebrary books cannot be downloaded to a Kindle.
To download ebooks from ebrary, you need to be signed in to your account. An account has been created for you and is accessed with your Missouri Southern credentials.
In ebrary, you may download up to 10 documents at a time using Adobe Digital Editions, a free software program that enables you to read documents and transfer ebooks to supported devices.
To install and activate Adobe Digital Editions:
To download an ebook to your computer:
2. Select the option to download the full document.
3. Click OK.
4. Choose whether to Open with Adobe Digital Editions or Save file to open later.
5. Click OK.
6. You may open the document with Adobe Digital Editions and utilize features including organizing the library, using bookshelves, transferring documents to supported devices, navigating documents, searching text, creating bookmarks, printing, returning the document early, and more.
If you do not have Adobe Digital Editions, download it for free by using the link in the download box to connect to the Adobe site. Adobe Digital Editions works with a variety of platforms, including the Nook, several iPad and Android apps, and even the Kindle with the Aldiko reader.
PDFs can be read by most mobile devices, including Kindles.
To download part of a book as a pdf (the normal limit is 60 pages, but can vary from book to book):
2. Select one of two image-PDF options.
Option 1: use the pull-down menu to choose an individual chapter from the book.
Please note, if the chapter is over 60 pages long, eBrary will not permit it in its entirety to be downloaded. It will need to be split into two page range downloads instead.
Option 2: type in a range of pages you would like to save -- the range may not be longer than sixty pages.
