ENG 381: Whose Paradise? Claimed and Reclaimed Hawai'i in Literature and Film

The Library shares lending privileges with over 60 academic, public, and special libraries that are part of our MOBIUS consortium. You can request material from these locations and they will be sent to the MSSU Library for you to check out. Requests typically arrive in 3-5 business days, so it can be important to plan ahead.
1. You can find MOBIUS books by starting at the mssu.edu/library website and searching for material under Books and More

2. If you cannot find the material you are looking for in our library, click on the link MOBIUS at the top of the results page or visit the search site at openrs.searchmobius.org/search

3. Click on any title you would like to request.

4. If the item is available to be requested, you will find a "Place a hold" button. Click to proceed.

5. To sign into your account and finalize placing your hold, select "Missouri Southern State University" from the dropdown.
6. Sign into your account using your campus credentials and password.
7. Make sure your pick up location is set to our library and click on "Place hold".

If there is a book (or article) you would like to read but cannot access through the Library or MOBIUS, you can make an InterLibrary Loan (ILL) request. We will do our best to find a library willing to lend the book or email the article, but it can take time to locate a lender. Make sure to plan ahead - books can take at least two weeks to arrive through traditional ILL and articles can take 3-5 days.
You can request ILL material here: https://mssu.libwizard.com/f/spivarequestform
