
1. Once you've found an article or other item you would like to cite, take a look at its detailed record. On the right side, you will see Tools. Click on "Cite".

2. You will find "MLA 9th Edition" under the formats listed.

3. It is important to be aware that citations may be inaccurate. This is a great way to find the needed information, but these results often contain small errors or otherwise may not conform to the correct format. Always double-check and correct with your MLA Handbook. In this example, a superscript added to the article title becomes an unnecessary number 1 in the citation's title.
