Community and Alumni Patron Services

MEMBERSHIP

• Community patrons may purchase a one-year library card for only $15. Area K-12 students only pay $10.
• A library card allows you access to books, DVDs, CDs, interlibrary loan, and so much more!
• Our Popular Reading collection is comprised of popular crime, romance, mystery, science fiction, western, and fantasy titles.
• We also have award-winning Juvenile and Young Adult collections, including The Newbery Medal, The Michael L. Printz Award, Mark Twain Readers Award, and Missouri Building Block Picture Book Award.

• Alumni can receive a free library card with their active Alumni account. 
• Please make sure to specify that you are alumni when signing up for a card, as alumni accounts are free and community patron accounts cost $15.00
• Bring a photo ID to the Main Circulation desk on the 3rd floor of the library when you want to sign up for a Library card.
• Library cards are good for one year and will need to be renewed by coming to the library.

♣ Seating areas throughout the library are available for public patrons, including the quiet room. Public patrons cannot checkout study rooms or make room reservations.

Alumni with active library cards may checkout a study room for one hour per day.  This does not renew and current MSSU students and employees will have priority for the space.
