Candidates enrolled in the Missouri Southern State University teacher preparation program have access to a variety of organizations, including student membership in professional societies. Membership in student education organizations is not a degree or certification requirement.
The teacher education faculty strongly believes that participation in professional organizations is a vital part of establishing and maintaining professional stature. Each semester the different student education organizations (except Kappa Delta Pi) actively seek new members.
