Duties

Schedule meetings, maintain agendas and minutes

Create subcommittees as needed

Perform environmental scan of OER awareness and usage on MSSU campus

Surveys

  • Example: faculty and student perspective on OER

Review OER materials, search engines and platforms in the marketplace

Explore and establish protocol for integrating OER materials into the teaching and learning of MSSU courses via Blackboard

Report findings and make recommendation to Academic Affairs

Communicate, educate and market OER to teaching faculty and staff
