You can search several databases at once using the "Search Everything" box on the Library homepage. You can also look at specific databases that have a literary or humanities focus. Here are some recommendations:
A large digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources covering more than 50 disciplines primarily in the Arts & Sciences, Life Sciences, and Business. Coverage begins at the first issue of the journal and extends up to a publication date usually set in the past three to five years.
A detailed bibliography of journal articles, books, and dissertations consisting of literature, language and linguistics, folklore, literary theory & criticism, dramatic arts, the historical aspects of printing and publishing, and the history, theory, and practice of teaching language and literature.
Project MUSE provides full-text scholarly journals from universities and scholarly societies. Project MUSE has over 800 journals and 80,000e books.
A collection of multidisciplinary dissertations and theses, featuring 6 million records from more than 70 countries and over 4,100 institutions, of which 3.6 million are full-text titles
