How do I find Articles about my topic? Print Page

Find Articles

1.  Select 'Journal Article' or 'Newspaper Article' in the Summon Search drop down box located on the library homepage.

2.  Enter your topic keywords (Spanish Inquisition) and click the Search button.

3. Your results page should be limited to journal articles only.

4.  You can further refine your search results by selecting facets on the left.

Accessing Full-Text Articles from off campus

To access electronic resources (full-text articles, eBooks) from off-campus you must be an MSSU student, faculty or staff member with a username and PIN.

From off-campus, you will see the login page below before you are able to view the full-text. Enter your username (first half of your email extension) and PIN for full-text access from off-campus.

If you are using the correct log on and still have problems accessing the article databases, please try clearing any cookies on your computer.

Interlibrary Loan Request for Articles

If you need an article to which Spiva Library does not have full-text access, we can request a copy from another library using a service called InterLibrary Loan.

This service is available to all MSSU students, faculty, alumni, staff and community card holders.
